1960s

Naomh Feichín returned to senior ranks for 1958/9 but went back once again to junior in 1960. In that year the West was once more conquered when St. Michael’s were defeated on a scoreline of 2-5 to 1-2 and the county final was won by defeating Kilconly 1-5 to 1-4, with Sean Bartley as captain. Naomh Feichín returned once again to senior ranks for a couple of years but without any success.

In 1965, Naomh Feichin was defeated by Na Piarsiagh in the West Junior Final on a score of 1-7 to 0-9.

The West was won once again in 1969 defeating Oughterard 2-3 to 0-3. Naomh Feichin went on to beat Tommie Larkin’s 1-9 to 1-3 in the semi-final but were defeated in the county final by Menlough on a score of 3-8 to 0-5. The captain was Sean O’Toole.

Minor football: In 1963 the Clifden minor team, which was known as St. Joseph’s at the time, were beaten by St. Kieran’s in the West Final, 3-2 to 1-4.
